President
Stephen M. Soble, SIOR, CCIM, President of Ernest Soble Commercial
Properties, Inc., has been active in the commercial real estate
industry for over 19 years, specializing in the sales and leasing of
industrial and office properties, site sales, builds to suit, design
builds, investment properties, and property management services for all
commercial property types. Mr. Soble has earned designations in and is
an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors
(SIOR) and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). SIOR's
are comprised of over 1,800 networking specialists worldwide engaged in
marketing industrial and office properties and meeting real estate
needs of business and corporate clients, while CCIM designees (of which
there are only approximately 6,000 in 1,000 markets throughout the
world) are recognized internationally as experts in the disciplines of
commercial and investment real estate.
Graduating from the University of Texas at
Austin, with a BBA in Accounting in 1977, Mr. Soble worked as a staff
accountant in the tax department in the local office of the
international accounting firm of Ernst &Young (formerly Ernst &
Ernst) until entering St. Mary's University School of Law in 1978. Upon
receiving his J.D. in 1981, he practiced law in San Antonio,
specializing in estate, probate, and real estate with the Law Offices
of Peter M. Wolverton, a local tax attorney. In early 1983, encouraged
by his father, Ernest Soble, Stephen joined Ernest Soble Commercial
Properties where he began his commercial real estate career.
Mr. Soble is a member of the National
Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), San
Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), SABOR's Commercial Investment
Division (where he serves on the Board of Governors as Vice Chairman),
Real Estate Council of San Antonio, CREW-San Antonio (which is a part
of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women) and
Independent Commercial Brokers Association. He also currently serves on
the CCIM Institute's Professional Standards Committee and Bylaws
Committee (at a national level) and previously served on TAR's
Professional Standards Committee and SABOR's Commercial Grievance
Committee, and is a member of the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter
serving on the Board of Directors as its Immediate Past President and
Special Events Chair.
Today, Mr. Soble's firm completes in excess of 100 brokerage
transactions annually and manages over 50 properties.
